    Hey Az

Very cool video.  You had some great long rides.

It was also funny to see to you smoke some long board kooks on the inside of you.

Keep up the great editing.  But you should get a recording of Lee singing and use that as the background music.  I am not a big fan of Jack Johnson.  I met him many years ago in Byron Bay.  He was a dick.

    +1 on the cool video.

I will have to arrange to meet you guys in person.  I am enjoy learning about money and investment but I also like to keep fit.  I would love to learn to surf.  All of my friends and colleges who work with me in finance are fat and unhealthy.

Thanks for sharing the video.  Looks like a lot of fun.  Do you have two cameras???  One on your board and one on your paddle?

I stick with my yacht.  I don’t have to paddle it.  And it has a mini bar.

You are probably old and fat like the people I work with.

    Hi Surfalots,

The long ride was shot from Club Med. No one around only me & Lee. It take us 20 min to paddle from Cherating to there. No surfer, kook & surf lesson group over there. Really heaven.

Cherating wave quality almost same like Club Med. Easy to access. The problem is too crowded. Its impossible to take a long ride. At the break point there will be 10 and up surfers. Too pack to line up. And halfway of the ride, you need to deal with surf class. Usually it will be like 20 and up people. Cherating is the 2nd closest beach from KL. And I’m surprise that surfing is one of the team building activities.

I’m a big fan of Jack. Never had a chance to meet him. I started surfing with his song. So a lots of my surf memories in Jack’s song. I think he’s cool. He surf & done a lots of environment activities. I like his music style.

    Hi Stop Loss

I’m using 1 camera Gopro Hero3+. But I have 2 mount. 1 stick at paddle & the other 1 at board nose. I just swap the camera position.

    Hey Azlan

I just checked out your instagram account.  I did not know you were such a good skater.

You have some very cool clips.  Wish I had taken some when I was still young and handsome…but we didn’t have gopro back then.  😀

Did you get your laptop back?

I was so depressed today I put my long board on the roof racks and drove down to the reef.  I was willing to ride anything, even a tiny ripple.  But it was absolutely, positively, DEAD flat.

Maybe I will have to start taking antidepressants during the dry season.

    Hi Surfalots

I didn’t notice your message. So you found my IG. As I told you, I started as a skater and now fall deep into surfing. My best achievement during skateboarding is on 2000 Asian X-games qualifier. I placed 21th out of 300 competitors including Aussie (they damn good, they not supposed to compete in asia).

I am very busy nowadays. We will have plant shutdown this coming April. A lots of paperwork to prepare & tool preparation. I even work on weekends now. Lucky for me that it is flat now.  Or else I cannot focus on my work. Lee is not involve in this activity so he will be on long leave.

I suggest you to travel instead of sitting, waiting, wishing or take any unnecessary medicine. Come to Penang. You can stay at my house. I still have 1 room available for you.

    Great clip Az  Well done.

Small wave but very long ride.

Do you think I could paddle in and ride it on a long board?

Just got back from Phuket.  Spent a couple of days down there to catch up with friends.  No surf.  Flat Flat Flat.

Lee’s band sound very laid back.

    Hi Surfsalot

It’s always look smaller in the video. Actually it is waist high. I need to practice more for good video angle.

I think there will be no problem for longboard to paddle in. The problem is to paddle out. Its about 2x distance to taxi break. But if you are here, I can help to tow you out.  🙂

    Hey,

How’s your day lately? The breaks Lan was riding is our home breaks. Nobody ever surf here. It’s like we owned this breaks. It might be small but we thank God it’s decent enough for a training ground just next door distance wise.

Can’t wait to meet you in Khaolak this coming monsoon..!

    Hang loose

p/s: the up tempo version of the song from my band is in the making  ;-p
